Ingersoll 4000 Series Garden Tractors provide a big tractor look with big tractor performance. A longer frame and 16" wheels provide increased traction, higher ground clearance, and a smoother ride, for handling those extra big jobs. Featuring premium twin cylinder pressure lubricated engines, two-speed transaxle and full power hydraulic lift, these tractors have the power to operate a full range of work-saving hydraulic attachments and accessories.

Construction - From the cast-iron front axle and the heavy-duty welded frame, to the high performance cast iron rear transaxle, the Ingersoll 3000 and 4000 Series Garden Tractors are built from the ground up to deliver unsurpassed power, performance and durability... for a life time

Steering - Adjustable automotive-type steering components provide optimum steering control and strength for working all types of terrain conditions. Gear and sector steering allows complete turns with only one revolution of the steering wheel, and power steering models provide the ultimate in steering ease.

Hydraulic Drive - Ingersoll's patented agricultural-grade hydraulic system provides an oil only link between the engine and the transmission, providing power for the two-speed transaxle and eliminating the need for belts, shafts or pulley, and has power to spare for operating the hydraulic lift, power steering, and a whole range of hydraulic attachments.

Controls - Controls are conveniently located and easy to use. For safety, the forward/reverse travel control lever automatically returns to neutral when the brake is applied. The hydraulic lift allows raising and lowering of attachments. Downpressure and float features allow ground engaging attachments to reach maximum depth, while maintaining the ability to ride up over rocks or other obstructions.
